Many of us install or update our operating systems by downloading and there are several people who won’t be remembering the license key for sure, or if you have the key installed on your operating system but you have misplaced the file where you saved the key or formatted your drive and lost the important information, then i have a really useful post here which lets you determine your activated windows key.
Through this software application you can extract Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista as you won’t see the Windows 7 support but we made a test on Windows 7 and it worked, so according to me it also supports Windows 7. Follow simple steps and you are there with your key.

Just navigate to WinKeyFinder.com and download the SimpleKeyFinder, a 38k small downloadable zip file free to use.

Extract the contents via Winzip, Winrar or any other file extractor.

From the menu which appears browse to select the destination where SimpleKeyFinder will be extracted, also make a check on Show extracted files when complete.

After the extraction run SimpleKey_Finder which will display a warning message simply click Run, a window will open displaying your license key.

When the black screen runs it also creates a txt file with all the information on it, so don;t worry how to copy the code from that screen.
