Some news have rumored around the web against facebook that, starting from 8th July Facebook would be charging $3.98 per moth to the users, or maybe its $14.99 per month, or Rs.265 a month. However there is nothing much heard officially from facebook, and it might be a scam.

This fake news seems to be a hot issue on facebook, as for some times i assume it to be a non-serious news, but my expectation didn’t last for a long as when i searched “Facebook Charging” terms on facebook, i was amazed to get hundreds of groups in the search result.

Many of the facebook users seems to be targeted to such scam groups. The routine from these scam groups/pages is to sabots numerous people to link up their groups and then attempt different methods to draw out money from unsuspecting user. The methods array by mobile subscriptions to complimentary gift cards.
