The wait for Windows Essentials Live has been over know, as you can navigate to explore.live.com to download the very latest version which includes all he previously marked applications like Windows Messenger, Live Writer etc with some enhancement and better performance.
Before you hit the download button let me tell you that actually there are two types of installer for Windows Live Essential 4
- wlsetup-webd.exe (is the main installer)
- wlsetup-webc.exe (selective installer)
The first installer is the main installer as it installs all the live essential components on a single click, if you don’t want to skip any application then you should go for the first one.
Else if you are limited to some applications like i don’t use Outlook, Live call, then the second installer will be probably better. Windows Essential Live is supported on Windows Vista, 7 and Windows Server 2008, however if you are running Windows XP then this is not for you.
