After the successful launch of Android 2.2 codename Froyo, Google has started to plan for something really big. The team of Google developers are busy in preparing the latest version of Android called Android 3 which is codenamed as “Gingerbird”. You might have heard about this previously but there was not details much about it.
Some of the basic details started rolling over the web, which says as Gingerbird is designed for high end Android mobile devices only.

Gingerbird is expected in October this year and in November the Android 3 compatible devices/handsets will be available. Gingerbird will feature some common specification as :
Lowest hardware essentials for Android 3.0 devices are : 1GHz CPU with 512 RAM, display screen from 3.5” or higher.
1280 x 760 resolution display will be available for the devices and the screen size will increase to 4” or above.
Entirely redesigned user interface.
