A couple of months back, a beta version of Windows Live Essentials was released out which also allows user to chat with their Facebook friends instantly from Windows Live Messenger itself, but today the update shows that this feature is also coming soon to Windows Live Web messenger as well which is also quite clear from the screenshot below :
The same feature was also spotted on Windows Live Phone services. There have been made some changes to the UI, where as the char box has been upgraded with an option to chat with your friends on Facebook too. The color status icon have been added where green resembles the user on an online mode, red for busy and orange for away mode. A few additions on the header bar as link to ‘Mobile’ which proves the integration of the messenger with some Windows Live Devices.
Whereas, https://devices.live.com/Devices/Mobile is link for the devices has been spotted but which is not active yet. An arrow beside the user name menu is available which on click unhide’s the Facebook Chat toggle option. Another upgrade is that you cannot Sign-In on a single account from multiple locations for eg. If i am logged in Windows messenger account from PC, then i cannot use the Web Messenger service, where in past we can easily the multiple sign-in facility.
The rumors point Microsoft’s that the release candidate for Windows Live Essentials 2011 will be available soon the the users and at the same time Windows Live websites will also be updated.
