When any one say Simulator, i automatically thinks of a airplane simulator or some video game simulators. Is there any need of a car simulator ? Lexus has revealed what it titles as the world’s most innovative driving simulator, and the car maker says that this is not a video game simulator.

Lexus has designed and developed this most advanced technological simulator in order to test their technology that will take car to its safe limits. What i am thinking is to test the simulator on my own and i love to play with it. Well the simulator has covered the room size of about a football fields in Japan, that’s too huge man. The simulator pure white dome which is 15-feet tall and 56-feet in diameter. The dome rests on triple axis hexapod system.

Inside the dome is a complete virtual Lexus car with gears needed to project the real time environment all the way around the car. The dome is designed in such a way that it can draw the realistic landscape in the mirrors of the car. The simulator is not fixed, as it can move forward, backwards, side-by-side in order to project different situations.

Lexus official’s says that the simulator can precisely demonstrate the spirits of driving and handling the car up to 186 mph with 330 degree turn around angles.
