The recent event from Facebook was rumored to unveil something big and personal or you can the a communication alternate similar to Gmail, Hotmail and other messaging services. Well its not a rumor any more as the CEO Mark Zuckerberg  made an official announcement introducing the latest technology messaging service. This is messaging system is not yet a traditional email but its different to what users have never been on it.

You can watch the event live at Facebook Live. This new messaging system is expected to inspire the users that how they communicate through different platforms. Basically the system is designed as platform independent allowing users to send and receive messages through different platforms like IM, Facebook, Mobile phone etc. Mark Zuckerberg’s new messaging service will ease the users to communicate with their friends across these different platforms in real time. The system is simple to use, as the system integrates your friends, chats, texts and emails altogether in single cluster.

Not only this Facebook is also providing its own email addresses as ‘username@facebook.com’ where many people will love to have their facebook addresses. Here is what they says:

We are also providing an @facebook.com email address to every person on Facebook who wants one. Now people can share with friends over email, whether they’re on Facebook or not. To be clear, Messages is not email. There are no subject lines, no cc, no bcc, and you can send a message by hitting the Enter key.

The new messaging system will be rolled out in next few months through an invite only process. You can also make a request for the new social messaging service from Facebook Messages to get your hands on.
