The latest security called Lookout Mobile Security has uncovered the latest cellphone Trojan, attacking on Android phones. The reports claims the torjan to be the most awful to the date. The latest Android phone torjan is named as Geinimi, first sighted in China. The main functionality of the torjan is to grab all possible personal information of the user from Android phone and dump all stolen data to predefined remote servers.
Lookout Mobile Security has claimed Geinimi to get botnet like qualities and is set as a virtually doctored wireless malware ever experienced. Geinimi attempts to connect to its backend remote servers after every five minutes via one of the ten embedded domain names to send and receive information after every five minutes.
Lookout Mobile Security says,
“Geinimi is effectively being ‘grafted’ onto repackaged versions of legitimate applications, primarily games, and distributed in third-party Chinese Android app markets,”
At the moment the most infected program from Geinimi are from Chinese app stores.
