Every touchscreen smartphone has its own way of unlocking the device from the sleep mode, iPhone uses a slider which could be dragged to a specified direction to wake up the phone from sleep mode, and some Android phones use particular unlocking pattern to wake up your phone. But what Nokia is up to?
Currently Nokia is experimenting a totally different mechanism particularly for their Symbian^3 phones to wake them up from sleep mode in fun and in more faster way, watch out the Nokia Labs demo below:
Nokia latest lock screen is called Bubbles, where your apps reside inside the bubble and, while your device is in sleep mode the bubbles float on your screen, to unlock your phone all you have to do is grab a bubble and drop on a specified position to execute the app inside the bubble.
In short the apps inside the bubbles are the shortcuts you can add, phone call logs, FM radio, music player or even calling a friend in the bubble. If you are interested to try this app on your Nokia touchscreen phone you can grab one from Nokia Labs.
