Intel have just released the all new hexacore flagship CPU processors called the Intel Core i7-990X Extreme Edition which is said to have six 3.46GHz cores along with 12 processing threads. The company claims to feature the processor with Intel’s Turbo Boost technology which allows user to overclock the processor to 3.73GHz or above.
The processor also features a 12MB cache which can be assigned to every single core plus a room for three DDR3 memory for 1066MHz. The best combination according to Intel for this heavy processor is paired with X58 Express Chipset.
