Do you like Chinese food but you don’t know how to cook it in a professional way as experience in popular Chinese restaurants. Here is a robot sighted at Food Service Equipment Show at Tokyo, made by Japanese based MIK named as Robo-Chef which is a robot machine with some advanced cooking skills.
The robot is significantly designed to cook Chinese cuisines. The Robo-Chef can prepare fried rice, stir-fried vegetables/noodles, chow mein without any guidance. All you have to do is to place all the ingredients and seasonings at work and rest is for robochef.
“A feature of this machine is that the wok is flat and rotates. And this stirrer mixes the ingredients thoroughly, to prevent uneven flavoring. This has the advantage of delivering food that has a consistent flavor, no matter who cooks it. Chinese cooking involves shaking a heavy wok, which is quite hard work. But this machine makes it easy for all kitchen staff, including women and part-timers, to make great-tasting Chinese cuisine.”
MIK produces two types of Robo-Chef as a gas type and an IH type which goes for a retail price of $10,900. Well this is a huge amount and surprisingly the company have even sold robochef to six different countries. Watch out robochef in action:
