A good news awaiting for many Twitter account holders is that, Twitter has permanently added secure HTTPS encryption across account connections. A company worth 10 billion dollars, the very renowned micro-blogging website called Twitter will celebrate its 5 years of success on March 21st.
On this occasion Twitter has enabled its enhanced security option, HTTPS connections provide more authentication and validation to your account disabling the risk of hacking over Wi-Fi connectivity. You have to manually enable the HTTPS security option while logging into your account under Settings tab. Twitter was previously working on this feature since January but was unsuccessful for some reasons. This encryption tools is very common for banking and e-commerce based websites and now proudly Twitter is also a member of HTTPS based social networking site.
How To Enable HTTPS in Twitter?
Step 1: Sign-in to your Twitter account.
Step 2: On extreme right click on your twitter image and goto to Settings.
Step 3: Check box the ‘Always use HTTPS’ and click SAVE.
Congratulations your HTTPS is now enabled and now your Twitter account communication is now more protected over the network.
