The hype for iPhone 5 have already started from the start of this year, yet we have seen many rumors and designers perception models for the upcoming iPhone 5, and yet now got something a good news that the new model will be available for sale from September 2011.
With the launch of iPhone 5 we will also have an upgraded version called iPhone 4S as heard from the analyst Chris Whitmore from Deutsche Bank. Adding further, he assumes that iPhone 4S will be a lower priced phone which might cost below $350 and would also be factory unlocked. On the other side, iPhone 5 will be a new born baby with improved processor speed, better camera quality loaded on the most recent iOS 5 which was recently announced.
Chris Whitmore adds:
“With Nokia and RIMM struggling,” he writes, “the time is right for Apple to aggressively penetrate the mid range smart-phone market (i.e. $300-500 category) to dramatically expand its [total addressable market] and market share.”
Lets see what promising months will be able to produce the new devices to the audience. For more details on iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 subscribe to our feeds or you can join us on Facebook.
iPhone 5 is in rumors for so long. I remember that it was expected to be launched in mid of last year. Then it was delayed. Still you can’t say whether it will be coming or iPhone 5 is just the hype.
Exactly you are right that the hype has been created for long, but the news seems a bit close to real prediction, fingers crossed for September
What Should The iPhone 5 Be Like to Beat The Competition to Galaxy SII and the upcoming Nexus 4G by Google
I really don’t think that the new iPhone, if it’ll look different anyway, will have a larger screen that goes right to the edge of the phone. This really qould cause some problems if you put it in the palm of your hands. You would not be able to hold it without touching the display constantly at the edge. Further would the the edge be very sensitiv of any kind of “mechanical” inputs. Let’s say the phone falls out of your hand (because you can’t hold it right because of the large display as mentioned above) and falls to the ground the display would presumably break because there’s no crush zone … so i don’t think that the display is going to be 4 inches without any changes to the size of the rest of teh phone … what do you think?
Agree with Matt. But it would on the other hand looks just awesome getting a full big screen in your hand
