The latest beta version updates now lets you chat with you Facebook friends using same Skype software. All you have to do is download and install Skype 5.5 version update and link you Facebook account with Skype. After successful linking a new Facebook tab will show all you online friends, in order to begin chatting just click the name and select “send an IM” to start chat session.

Now you don’t have to switch between the tabs to look who is online or if he/she have left a message for you, new notifications will available to your system tray similar to your Skype notifications. The chat also supports smileys (emotions) too during the chat.
