Do you remember we were updating about iPhone 5 which is scheduled to launch in September, well the day was not so far when we could see Steve Jobs announcing iPhone 5, but what we heard today was most shocking. One of the strongest man on the globe, Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO of Apple to company’s board on Wednesday and handed over the executive lead to Apple COO named Tim Cook, who shall now be acting as new CEO of Apple.

“I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know,”

Steve had some issue with his poor health and in January he announced to take medical leaves from the company. He returned on public figure on March to help the launch of iPad 2. Well Steve Jobs has not said bye to Apple, rather he will be still handling the world’s most valuable company ahead.

To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.

I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.

As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.

I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

Steve Jobs, no doubt will be a great icon for the tech-industry and he has paid enormous strength for Apple to be one of the most valuable, innovative companies the world has ever seen, we will pray for his good life ahead.
