Apple iOS 5 is about to launch and we have already heard about the iCloud service, some more details leaked on the web related to iCloud pricing and storage sources.

The new pricing plans for iCloud have been announced by Apple, which is said to replace the current Apple MobileMe service, apparently all new sign-ups will receive a 5GB storage for free.

Well if you want to increase your storage capacity, a 20GB of storage will cost you $40 for a year. There is a good news for MobileMe account users who wish to migrate to iCloud will get the extra 20GB for cloud storage for free.

The deal is not meant to be free to use for lifetime, the extra storage will only be valid up till June 2012, after this time previous MobileMe users have to pay $40 per year like everyone else.
