New iTunes 10.6 Update

• iTunes 10.6 adds the ability to play 1080p HD movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store.

MacRumours had their hand’s on iPad 3 leaked display panel’s and states as no more evidence on physical screen size for iPad 3 as it is same as 9.7” in diagonal found on iPad 1 and iPad 2.

But a close microscopic view against iPad 2, after examining both screens they were able to confirm that iPad 3 screen resolution is twice much as compared to iPad 2.

Since we only had a raw iPad 3 display with no method to power it, taking high quality photos of the pixels was difficult. Still, even with the relatively poor lighting, you can easily make out the pixels on each display (made up of red, green and blue elements). We highlighted a cluster of 4 pixels (2×2) from the iPad 2 to compare it to the same area on the iPad 3. On the iPad 3, the same cluster was occupied by 16 pixels (4×4) — exactly twice the resolution in each direction.

Extrapolating out, the iPad 3 screen should carry a full resolution of 2048×1536, exactly twice the linear resolution of the iPad 1 and iPad 2 which is 1024×768. Such a screen should be able to display much sharper images as compared to the previous generation iPads.

iPad 3 Release Expectations

We have seen many posts where developers have successfully ported Siri on previous iPhone/iPod Touch versions. The Telegraph have just published an authenticate news which says Siri working well on Android handsets perfectly well, after developers found a hidden restrictions which limits the app only for iPhone 4S users.

The working of Siri app was from Apple backend servers which process your questions and speaks a relevant answer. A French mobile software company called Applidium re-engineered Siri’s design protocol which uses to communicate with servers.

The company found a positive way to intercept and decrypt the data travelling from phone to server allowing to gets details information on data format.

Siri can run on any version of iPhone/iPod Touch unless company has restricted its public release for other model in order to iPhone 4S high on market. The hardest computing of Siri was carried out by servers so no issue for other models.

You can even run Siri from your computer as Applidium have published software code which works well until & unless you have an iPhone 4S key.

"So if you want to use Siri on another device, you still need the identifier of at least one iPhone 4S," Applidium said. "Of course we’re not publishing ours, but it’s very easy to retrieve one using the tools we’ve written."

Luckily Apple released the very first update to iOS 5 on Thursday, which aims to solve this battery drainage issue and  some security lackness to iPhone 4S users. I guess Apple have not test their update before making a release as no.of users have been reported negatively the battery life problem and more over addressed to different more new issue.
