It could be the specs, because Google’s Nexus 7 has been anticipated with a lot of impatience. It is after all a tablet that runs on Jelly Bean, the best Android to date with features like Google Now which “gets you the right information at the right time” including weather, traffic etc, and performance enhancer like Project Butter. The Jellybean in itself has been so anticipated that it could be the major reason behind the excitement of Google Nexus.

And then the Nexus also has a quad core processor thus becoming the ONLY tablet to have the quad core. Of course, the price is a big advantage too. The fact that it is only $199 and in the range of a Kindle Fire has made the competition pretty much shudder. These contributed to the pre orders which the company started to take in right after the demo in late June. The fact that it is able to deliver July 2012 just like they promised is commendable, especially in the technological world where we’ve all but become immune to deadlines since companies keep postponing releases.

There is just the slightest hitch in management behind the entire affair. And that is that although most people have preordered it and the shipping has begun, others are heading over to Gamestop retail simply to pick one up without preordering at all. It kind of makes you wonder what the term “pre-order” really means. It can be upsetting if you’ve been one of pre order buyers to see someone else who hasn’t pre ordered already flashing around their Nexus, but worry not, soon yours should be with you too.

Here’s a quick recap about what your Nexus 7 will have, while you wait for it to reach you. You might remember it has a funny little quirk – that it does not get to landscape despite rotating it. We’re sure you considered this before you placing your order. Your Nexus is going to be super light when you finally lay hands on it – just about 340 grams or 12 ounces. The headphone jack is at the bottom not the top so you don’t have to worry about wires dangling over your screen, and the tablet has pretty decent battery time too. The right hand side of new MacBook Pro has USB 3.0 (no more traditional blue color, Apple made all USB 3.0 in white color), HDMI port and a S card reader. Surprisingly there is no optical drive here, opps? Nothing there on the back as expected, where as on the left side it has new MagSafe 2 connector, dual thunderbolt ports, again a USB 3.0 and a headphone jack.
